QT St Kilda Guest Rooms

The design of QT St Kilda’s hotel rooms is unapologetically local, drawing inspiration from the physical and cultural fabric of its surroundings. Rooted in the heyday of St Kilda in the 1970s—when disco ruled—the interiors are a playful yet sophisticated nod to the era.

Patterned carpets, disco ball lamps, sequined cushions, velvet bedheads and sofas, and tinted glass tabletops create a layered, glamorous atmosphere infused with a sense of fun. Timber cladding references St Kilda’s maritime heritage, while the feature lighting replicates the iconic lamps of St Kilda Pier—reinvented in bold pink.

Further deepening the connection to place, sheer curtains feature an aerial image of the beach and waves just across the road. Designed to be both comfortable and distinctive, the rooms balance nostalgia, luxury, and a touch of irreverence—perfectly capturing the spirit of St Kilda.
