UKO Stanmore
UKO Stanmore is Australia’s first ever built co-living space. Co-living can be described as a short or long stay collaborative way of living bringing together the essentials to live, work & play under one roof focussing on creating a sense of community.
The concept for UKO was strongly based around the Le Corbusier idealism of a space being a “Machine for living,” of which cleverly designed joinery was designed to maximise floor space by ensuring essentials were able to be packed away when needed.
